Where wisdom meets warmth, and growth becomes a group project.
At The Healing Group Institute, we believe professional development doesn't have to feel like a PowerPoint presentation in a windowless room. We're flipping the script on continuing education by creating a vibrant, supportive, and trauma-informed space where therapists, educators, and helpers can thrive—together.
We’re not just here to check boxes. We’re here to build better humans.
The Healing Group Institute is the professional training arm of The Healing Group—Utah’s trusted leader in evidence-based, attachment-focused mental health care. Whether you’re a seasoned therapist or a freshly minted grad, our courses, community, and resources are designed to help you grow your skills and stay rooted in your humanity.
Our team is made up of nationally recognized educators, speakers, and practicing clinicians with real-world expertise in:
Perinatal and reproductive mental health
Sexual health and healthy sexuality education
Trauma-informed care across the lifespan
We teach what we practice. And we practice what we preach.
Who We Are
What We Believe
We believe that continuing education should be nourishing, not numbing. That people learn best when they feel safe. That the best therapists are the ones who are still learning—and laughing.
We’re building a community of professionals who lead with Passion, operate with Integrity, think with an Ecosystem Mindset, and embody Safety in every interaction. (We call these our PIES—and who doesn’t love pie?)
What Makes Us Different
We don’t do “stuffy.” We do evidence-based education that feels like a deep exhale and a really good cup of coffee. Expect vintage collegiate vibes, meaningful mentorship, and lots of lightbulb moments.
And because we know that how we show up matters just as much as what we teach, we prioritize:
Client-centered, proactive care
Clinician support that actually supports
High standards without the burnout
Ongoing learning that’s practical, ethical, and empowering
Whether you're taking your first CEU course with us or stepping into a leadership training, you'll walk away with tools you can use and a community you can count on.
The Healing Group Institute is for people who care deeply, show up fully, and never stop learning. If you’re looking for real training, real connection, and real impact—you’re in the right place.
