Embodied Sexual Healing: Applying the 4-D Wheel in Clinical Sex Therapy introduces mental health professionals to the Four-Dimensional Wheel of Sexual Experience—a non-colonized, body-centered model developed by Dr. Gina Ogden and evolved by Kamara McAndrews, LMFT, CST-S. This interactive, experiential training invites clinicians to explore sexuality through the interconnected lenses of body, mind, emotion, and spirit, helping clients access ancestral and systemic wisdom held in the body. Rather than pathologizing dysfunction, the 4-D model supports healing through presence, deep listening, and client empowerment.
Designed for providers seeking a more inclusive and transformational approach to sex therapy, this course focuses on holding space, fostering safety, and facilitating self-directed change. Participants will learn how to implement the 4-D Wheel in practice, concretize abstract experiences, and co-create tools with clients across diverse sexual and cultural identities. Aligned with AASECT competencies and rooted in ethical, affirming care, this training expands clinical capacity while honoring the complexity and sacredness of human sexuality.
