Led by Daniel Johnson, PT, DPT, PRPC, this dynamic session is designed for mental health and medical providers who want to deepen their understanding of how physical factors contribute to sexual pain and difficulty. Through interactive discussion, guided reflection, and practical examples, participants will:
Identify common pelvic floor conditions that impact desire, arousal, and sexual function.
Understand how pelvic floor therapy addresses the physical contributors to sexual dysfunction and supports healing.
Recognize when referral or collaboration with a pelvic floor therapist can improve patient outcomes and overall well-being.
