Catherine de Sauvage, LMFT, is a California-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and AASECT-certified sex therapist originally from Belgium. She brings a holistic, body-centered framework to her work with sexual trauma survivors, drawing on Somatic Experiencing to help clients complete unfinished survival responses, release trapped trauma, and restore nervous system regulation. She was personally trained by Dr. Gina Ogden and uses the 4 Dimensions Wheel of Sexual Experience to support clients in exploring sexuality across physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions. Catherine also draws on four years of experience with the Somatica Method and nine years of group facilitation work with people recovering from incarceration, informing a practice grounded in authenticity and deep respect for each client's unique journey. She has particular expertise working with sexual trauma survivors and sex workers experiencing trauma, and she offers services in both English and French.
