Course Description
What happens when you combine the 4D Wheel framework with an escape room? A surprisingly powerful educational experience for individuals navigating perimenopause and menopause. This one-hour live training offers clinicians a creative, experiential approach to integrating the 4D Wheel into patient education and clinical practice related to menopause care — expanding applied understanding of this framework through an immersive, innovative educational model.
Through expert-led instruction and guided exploration, participants will discover how the escape room concept was adapted as a structured, immersive educational experience for women in perimenopause and menopause, how each station within the escape room was designed using the 4D Wheel to engage participants across the dimensions of body, heart, mind, and spirit, and how clinicians can draw on this creative model to bring sexual health education to life in more engaging, memorable, and accessible ways.
The training examines the overarching objective of integrating escape room design with sex therapy and sexual health education, walks participants through the escape room participant experience, and identifies creative applications of the 4D Wheel as an educational tool for perimenopause, menopause, and related sexual health topics. Participants will leave with expanded clinical thinking about how experiential and creative frameworks can enhance patient education and therapeutic engagement.
This training is grounded in the core values of dignity and worth, the importance of human relationships, and a commitment to supporting clients' long-term growth, vitality, and wellbeing — affirming that creativity and play have a meaningful place in sexual health education and clinical practice.
